Originally from Cuba, Argelia Rodriguez is a certified elementary teacher with over 12 years of experience helping students succeed. She currently teaches at Hawthorne Elementary School in Jefferson County Public Schools.
With specialized training in Math Recovery and experience providing math interventions, Argelia uses engaging, research-based strategies to help students strengthen number sense, build confidence, and develop a love for math. She meets all Kentucky state requirements for elementary math instruction and is dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential.
Yelitza is your literacy partner! She is a certified educator currently teaching at JCPS, holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, and has specialized, evidence-based reading training through LETRS. With nearly 10 years of experience helping diverse learners thrive in public schools, she knows exactly how to transform struggling readers into confident, fluent individuals.
